Clinical & Assisted Onboarding

Neuroartan may later support guided onboarding, expert-assisted setup, elder-care workflows, or branch-based memory and model configuration. These workflows require stronger consent, privacy, legal, and staff-access safeguards.

Assisted onboarding boundary

Assisted onboarding means a person may receive help setting up their vault, memory sources, voice data, personal model, or continuity settings. This support must not silently transfer control of the user’s private data to staff or to Neuroartan Cloud.

The user should remain in control of source selection, consent, processing depth, and storage destination.

Not healthcare by default

Neuroartan is not positioned as therapy, diagnosis, treatment, clinical decision support, mental-health care, or a healthcare provider replacement by default.

Any future healthcare, clinical, therapy, elder-care, or medical workflow requires legal review before production use or public positioning.

HIPAA and clinical review

HIPAA may become relevant if Neuroartan works with covered healthcare entities, receives protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, or provides services in a regulated healthcare context.

Neuroartan must not assume HIPAA applies to every private reflection, but it must treat healthcare partnerships, clinic workflows, and protected health information as mandatory legal-review triggers.

Elder-care and vulnerable-user safeguards

If Neuroartan supports elderly users, grieving users, cognitively vulnerable users, or assisted memory and voice sessions, the system must use additional safeguards.

These safeguards may include clearer consent language, capacity and authorization review where required, caregiver boundaries, no coercive legacy setup, no hidden voice capture, and no default loved-one access.

Staff access limits

Staff, experts, facilitators, contractors, or branch personnel must not have default access to raw thoughts, memory records, voice recordings, health-like references, or legacy keys.

Any staff-visible access should be necessary, user-authorized, role-limited, logged, reviewable, and revocable where applicable.

Consent and session records

Assisted sessions should create clear records for user consent, selected sources, storage destination, processing purpose, staff involvement, access events, export status, deletion status, and legacy authorization where applicable.

The user must understand whether data remains local, is stored in iCloud, is copied to Neuroartan Cloud, or is processed for model memory.

Public language boundary

Public documentation may describe guided setup, expert-assisted onboarding, memory and model setup support, privacy-first continuity tools, and user-controlled voice and memory configuration.

Terms such as therapy, treatment, diagnosis, patient, clinical care, dementia support, grief treatment, or medical supervision require legal review before use.

Current status

This page describes product and governance direction. Assisted onboarding, branch workflows, clinic-adjacent workflows, elder-care support, and staff-assisted memory or voice setup may be unavailable or subject to legal, security, and operational review before launch.
